Twice a year in New York, and every July in Miami, 80 of
the fashion world’s best gather to debut their collections
at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. For the past two years,
Almeter Design has created a completely new look and feel
for each event.
For the Spring 09 shows, which opened in New York in September 2008, we developed
an identity that played off the upcoming presidential election. Using bold colors and
an ode to campaign pins and slogans, we built a comprehensive and cohesive theme
that carried across everything from the tent front and banners to programs and ads.
With honest design and a fun twist on the familiar, we captured the spirit of the moment
and gave a unified event brand to the weeklong celebration of fashion.
